Hotel Balmes 4* is located between Mallorca and Balmes streets across two buildings and has a total of 111 rooms and apartments arranged around the block’s inner garden. The hotel enjoys an excellent location in the Eixample district, just steps from Passeig de Gràcia.
The hotel offers two meeting rooms, an outdoor pool in the patio, a fitness room and a sauna, a tree-lined garden, a restaurant and a bar. Hotel Balmes is also noted for its connection to the art world; artworks are displayed in some rooms and in a dedicated exhibition area for African art, contributing to the hotel’s unique cultural atmosphere.

Hotel Balmes 4* is committed to continuous improvement and therefore undergoes annual benchmarking assessments. Our team works to reduce environmental impacts by implementing sustainable measures that improve hotel performance, lower energy and water consumption, and minimize waste generation.
Hotel Balmes 4* complies with all applicable laws and regulations and aims to achieve industry best practices. We have appointed one EarthCheck Coordinator; he is responsible for improving the hotel’s sustainability performance. In addition, the Green Team supports coordination across all operational areas.
Special attention is given to hiring and supporting local staff; where possible, sustainable products and services from the local market are procured in line with principles of fair trade. We encourage staff to communicate and promote our commitment to environmental and social sustainability to guests, suppliers, and contractors.
