Hotel Balmes is adapted for people with disabilities with ramps and elevators and has 100% accessible rooms (except for family rooms and duplex suites). Please do not hesitate to contact our Guest Service team for any specific needs.

The nearest airport is Josep Tarradellas Barcelona - El Prat (BCN). The journey can be made by taxi (30 minutes, approximate cost €40), Aerobús (40 minutes to Plaça Catalunya, ticket cost €7.90 per person), RENFE train (Airport Terminal 2 station to Passeig de Gràcia, ticket cost €4.60 per person), or by private transfer (contact the hotel to book this service). The nearest metro stop to the hotel is Passeig de Gràcia (L2, L3 and L4).

We are in the heart of the city, just a few meters from Paseo de Gracia.

We have our own parking (limited spaces) at a cost of €28.60 per car per day, VAT included. We recommend checking in advance for large vehicles.

The hotel restaurant offers daily breakfast; we also have room service and a small menu of tapas and snacks in the bar. Group lunches and dinners can be arranged upon request, but there is no à la carte service.

The hotel features a swimming pool in the garden, located in a spacious courtyard with abundant natural vegetation. The pool is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM during the summer season. The pool is not heated.

No. The garden and pool area is for the exclusive use of guests staying at the hotel, or for groups with events who have privately reserved the space in advance.

A buffet breakfast with hot à la carte dishes is currently served in the breakfast room for €26.40 per person (VAT included). Reservations are not required, and breakfast is served daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Breakfast can also be ordered in your room (additional charge). We recommend booking our rates that include breakfast, which offer a special discount on both the room rate and breakfast.

Yes, we welcome small dogs up to 15 kg. We recommend booking the "STAY & DOG - I travel with my dog" experience to make the most of your stay. If you do not book this experience, a supplement of €36.30 per day (VAT included) will apply. Only one dog per room is allowed.

No, but we recommend the Mayan Secret Spa at the Claris Hotel 5*GL (from our same hotel group), available every day from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
